Select is the highest level of play at T&C Soccer. It consists of two main programs; Premier and Competitive. All players must tryout and be invited to a Select soccer teams.

PREMIER

Premier is our paid trainer select team model that sits at the top of our Player Development Pathway at T&C Soccer. Within this program we have teams competing at various levels locally and regionally.

Our Premier teams currently compete in ECNL – RL USC STX, WDDOA and CAYSA. During the Spring our teams also compete in the various STX Cup competitions (State Cup, Presidents Cup, Directors Cup, South Texas Cup). Below is a list of the teams we currently have in this program.

Premier Program Details

  • Seasonal Soccer program (18 weeks Fall & 18 weeks Spring).
  • Practice twice a week for 1hr 30 mins with a T&C Trainer.
  • Access to a 3rd Technical Training or Goalkeeper session once-a-week for 12 weeks.
  • Access to VEO match recordings and analytics for team and players.
  • Practice is designed by DOC  and lead by coaching staff.
  • Coaches work from the US Soccer Coaching Curriculum map.
  • Players are required to purchase the full uniform package $175 approx.
  • Players are encouraged to add Premier warm-ups & Premier training jersey to their uniform package
  • Players must wear uniform to practice.
  • Pre season scrimmages at T&C included.
  • Teams plan to attend at least 2 tournaments per season*
  • Teams compete in ECNL – RL USC STX, WDDOA or CAYSA leagues during the Fall & Spring seasons playing approximately 16 games.
  • Teams compete in Spring Cup Play (State CupPresidents CupDirectors Cup) playing a minimum 3 games with a chance to advance
  • Every team has a parent Team Manager to assist the Coach with admin duties.
  • Teams are encouraged to participate in additional off-season team events such as Camps, Futsal, Indoor, etc.
  • Preseason workouts begin with an Everton FC (English Premier League) Advanced Training Camp, this is an additional cost that teams are encouraged to attend.

*These tournaments are at an additional cost to the parent, team registration is roughly $700/tournament split between all the parents on the roster, plus coaches expenses. These fees are typically  somewhere around $60 per family per tournament, as teams get older and more competitive these fees may increase slightly with out of town travel and  hotel expenses.

Everton FC international Affiliate Club

We are incredibly excited to announce that T&C Soccer is an official partner with Everton FC!  Joining the Everton International Affiliate Program.

This partnership allows T&C Soccer to utilize the enormous resources that Everton FC has as a English Premier League club.  Everton is the most historic and iconic clubs in the world and has won nine league titles, five FA Cups, one European Cup Winners’ Cup and nine Charity Shields.  T&C Soccer becomes the 3rd affiliate club in the USA.

As part of the partnership T&C Soccer will have access to Everton’s trainers, curriculum and vast experience in player management including everything from nutrition programs to sports science.

We are incredibly excited to get started working with the EvertonFC Staff and growing T&C Soccer in Austin and around the world!

How does this program differ from the Competitive program?

The main difference between the Premier program and the Competitive program is the paid training and the length of the season. Premier teams are coached by paid trainers and their season’s last for 18 weeks Spring & Fall instead of 12. There are other benefits which are listed in the Program Details section above

Can I try out for a team?

Yes, any player from any club can tryout for an Premier team providing they are born between 2009 – 2013.

How much does it cost?

What Soccer is included in my fees?

  • Seasonal training twice a week for 18 weeks Fall & 18 weeks Fall
  • 15 weeks of Select Training per season – Additional 1hr session each week
  • Fall & Spring league play (16 games)
  • Spring Cup Play (3-4+ games)

What do I have to pay extra for?

  • Uniform, tournaments, out of town travel and off-season events such as Camps or Futsal.

How many games are played per weekend?

During league play teams can plan on playing one game per weekend, occasionally there may be two games a weekend, for tournaments and Spring Cup play there may be multiple games a weekend.

Can players participate in other sports whilst in the Premier program?

Yes. We strongly support our players participating in additional sports at this young age however they must communicate with their coach about making up any missed practices.

COMPETITIVE

Our Competitive teams at have been around for many years, they are built upon the foundation of what makes T&C so great, the volunteers! This program sits adjacent to the Premier program on the Player Development Pathway and is built upon the volunteer coach model.

T&C Soccer teams compete in local area leagues; WDDOA and CAYSA. Teams are coached by parent volunteers who have experience and support in their role. All coaches must pass necessary background checks enforced by the state and complete necessary courses to obtain a KidSafe badge for that season.

Program Details

  • Seasonal soccer program (13 weeks Fall & 13 weeks Spring)
  • Players train twice a week for 1hr 30 mins with a volunteer coach
  • Players have access to a 3rd training session once-a-week for 12 weeks
  • Access to video technology for match and player analysis (VEO)
  • Teams compete in WDDOA or CAYSA leagues during the Fall & Spring seasons
  • Teams have the option to compete in Spring Cup (State CupPresidents CupDirectors Cup) play at additional cost.
  • Every team has a parent Team Manager to assist the Coach with admin

FAQs

How does this program differ from the current Competitive program?

The Premier program offers more to it’s players, it’s a professional-level approach to player and team development, it is designed to add another level of play to T&C Soccer.  The current competitive program does not include paid professional training for every practice and every game whereas the Premier program does, it also offers many more perks which are listed above in the program details.

Can I try out for a team?

Yes, any player from any club can tryout for an Premier team providing they are born in 2009 – 2011

How much does it cost?

Player fees for  T&C Premier teams is $1250 per competitive year (August through May)

What is included in my fees?

Seasonal training twice a week for 18 weeks, 8-10 weeks of Skills Training per season, access to weekly Futsal pick-up games throughout the season, Fall and Spring league play and Spring Cup play.

What do I have to pay extra for?

Uniform, tournaments, out of town travel and  off season events such as camps or Futsal.  Most players spend around $300 in addition to their $1000 yearly registration.
