T&C Girls Lacrosse - Program Information

Fall Clinic Series

The Fall Clinic Series is for both beginners and returning players. The first half of the session will be dedicated to individual lacrosse skill development. During the second half of each session, we will work on game skills and scrimmaging.

Fun, lacrosse specific fitness and conditioning will be a part of each session.

For Fall 2024 clinics will be held twice weekly.

Fall Sixes (Games) - NEW for Fall 2024!

T&C is excited to announce the addition of Sixes to our Girls Lacrosse program. Sixes is a variation of girls’ field lacrosse which will be played in the upcoming 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. This variation of lacrosse uses a smaller sided field with fewer players (5 field players plus one goalie) and some changes to the way the game is played.

Sixes is super fun and a great way to learn lacrosse, improve skills and be part of the next big thing to hit the game of lacrosse.

  • K-2nd: no goalkeeper
  • 3rd-8th: all players will have the opportunity to play the goalie position

The Fall 2024 Sixes season will consist of six Saturday morning games beginning September 21st.

Spring Season

Town and Country Lacrosse offers recreational lacrosse to 1st to 8th grade girls against other local youth lacrosse organizations. Our priorities are to provide a safe, fun experience for all ability levels, beginner through advanced. Team sizes are kept small to ensure that all players receive ample playing time in games.

The primary Lacrosse season is in the spring. Registration typically begins in mid-December. Teams generally start practices the second week in February with games running from March through early May.  Most teams have two practices during the weekdays with games usually played on the weekends. There are typically some Saturday practices prior to their first games. (No games or practices are held on Easter weekend). Home games are held at Town & Country while the remaining visiting games are held at other fields around Austin.
