For ages 3 to 14 (4U – 14U), recreational baseball emphasizes fundamentals and instruction, while developing character traits like teamwork and good sportsmanship. Pre-season player assessments are held for new and returning players (8U and up) to show their skills in front of all the coaches for their league.
All children participating in player assessments will be placed on teams during the draft. All players missing the assessment will be drawn blindly and placed on teams. T-ball players (4U – 6U divisions) are placed on teams by neighborhoods.
Practices are held at both T&C and other local facilities.
For the spring season AA and AAA (more competitive) divisions are offered in 8U and 10U.
AA VS AAA Comparison (Spring Season)
- AA division is a regular “recreational” league. They will play other AA T&C teams in their league. All games are held at the T&C fields. They may also play in mid-season tournaments. This is the division that most of the players in these age groups play in.
- AAA division offers experienced players a more competitive environment over our regular AA division. Teams will be picked through tryouts and a draft conducted at T&C. To be considered for the AAA division a player must attend tryouts. If a player signed up for AAA is not selected in the AAA draft that player will automatically be placed in the AA draft pool. AAA teams will occasionally travel to play other AAA teams from surrounding leagues.
