Please remember that T&C is not a public park.   Please make sure that your out of town guests are aware of this policy!  At the T&C Optimist Complex, visitors are expected to observe the Zero Tolerance Policy, which prohibits: Violence-Physical or Verbal, Alcohol, Noise Makers, Tobacco Products-ALL Types, Littering, Pets-Leashed and Unleashed, tailgating, no onsite cooking, this includes all T&C parking lots (T&C's permit does not allow public cooking or preperation of foods outside of our concessions). No oversized vehicles including campers. This Zero Tolerance Policy applies to all visitors for every event attended at the complex.  Any patron violating these policies will result in a warning to correct and/or asked to leave the T&C property.

Did you know you can also receive field statuses via twitter. If you have a twitter account, just follow TCsportsaustin.

 

The twitter update from TCSportsAustin is for field status only, you will not be able to post or respond to this account.   For those who do not wish to use twitter, you can still access field status updates on the Town and Country website.

 

Also please note, depending on your phone service plan, using twitter may be subject to data charges from your phone service provider. 

 

In order to receive the field status via twitter, if you have an existing twitter account, you can search for TCSportsAustin and select to follow.

 

If you do not have a twitter account set up, you will need to go to www.twitter.com and set up your new account.  In your set up for the account, you will have the option to download the twitter application for your phone.  Most phones are set up with the twitter application pre-installed, if so, you will not have to download.  Please check your device for this before selecting the option to download.  Once you your account set up, you can begin to follow whomever you choose.  To follow Town and Country field status, simply do a search for TCSportsAustin and select to follow.  You will receive field status updates when available.

Green means fields are open.

Yellow means fields are pending.

Red means fields are closed.Calling the rainout number for T&C Main Complex at 498-INFO (4636) for current status.

2012 High School/Town & Country Optimist Club Scholarship Recipients

Congrats to Will Kirkgard for receiving the Westwood HS/Town and Country Optimist Club Scholarship. T&C President, Greg Dettman, coached Will in T&C baseball, basketball, and flag football since he was 5 years old, Greg was very honored to take this photo following the ceremony. Will is attending the University of Texas at San Antonio in the Fall to pursue a degree in petroleum engineering and land management.

 

We are also proud to announce the other recipients: Alexandra Pereira (pictured in foreground) - Westwood HS AND our McNeil HS recipients, Brian George and Juni Kim, Congrats to you all!
